Slotted channels are manufactured from 2 mm thick sheet metal. Unlike standard channels, this channel does not require a cover grating, yet it offers higher hydraulic capacity. It is characterized by a wider inlet slot and clear opening width. It is used wherever large volumes of liquid need to be drained and where the manufacturing process allows for this design rather than a box channel.
